Steve Burton, a TV Reporter on a sports channel, was left a bit shaken after wrestling an alligator on his channel.

Burton’s programme “Sports Final” often has a segment on animals and it was during one of these segments when the incident with the alligator happened.

The reporter was talking about alligators when the small alligator began squirming in his hands.

The alligator wranglers told him to “Hold it tight!”

To which the shocked reporter could only reply: “I am! I am! I am! I am!”

Even though the reporter has faced larger and scarier beasts this is the only case when he lost his calm, although he probably handled the situation very well. He DID hold the alligator tight, as he was instructed. On previous episodes he encountered tarantulas, snakes and larger alligators.

"My hand is still shaking," Burton admitted.

The reporter added: "That thing was so strong. I wasn't fine!"

The show didn’t stop however, and Steven continued the programme. The handlers brought out a Komodo dragon!
