CCTV footage captured the incredibly tense moment a brave six-year-old tries to stop a robber with an axe that attacked a worker at her family’s shop!
6-year-old Sarah Patek tried to stop a masked robber armed with an axe at her parents shop in Auckland, New Zealand!
As the robber is punching and kicking the employees, one employee falls into a corner and raises his arms to shield himself from the attack of the axe-wielding fiend. Just as the robber swoops over the man, little Sarah rushes to the victim’s aid, grabbing the robbers leg!

The father said that Sarah was lucky that she wasn’t hurt during the robbery.
Sarah told her mother: “Hitting is a bad thing and I wanted to stop it, but when I saw the axe I turned around and ran.”
The parents said that Sarah was shocked by the incident and “couldn't sleep last night, she has got a bit of nausea and anxiety."
Police have caught five out of six robbers. They are 16-year-old kids that are currently being charged with aggravated robbery, injuring with intent and breaching bail.
