After years of service, a newly retired military dog reunites with her former handler

This yellow lab’s name is Taylor or Tay-Tay. Sometimes people also call her Prince Taylor as she did so well protecting soldiers during her two deployments that the Taliban even had a bounty on her head. That says a lot of those amazing qualities this dog possesses and the use it brought while servicing.

Sgt. Tom Hanson, Taylor’s regular partner, benefited from her skills not once as the dog found many bombs hidden near his feet, saving his life in the process. But now, years of dangerous work are over, and Taylor has recently retired from the military. As a rule, military dogs completing their service go for adoption, but Tay-Tay’s case is different. Thanks to one selfless flight attendant, this canine is about to reunite with Sgt. Hanson and stay with him in her forever home. This time for good.

Watching Taylor running straight into her dad’s arms is amazing. Molli Oliver really does a wonderful thing flying these animals to those who love them the most.
