Pit bull, who is now named Meatball or shortly Meaty, was taken from shelter thanks to Fresno Bully Rescue in California, USA and now happily lives with a family and his 4 fellow dogs, two other pit bulls and two dachshunds... and he won't stop smiling!
Just two years ago this cute pit bull didn't even have a name, only a number, and was living in a shelter with quite unpleasant conditions.
Thanks to Fresno Bully Rescue activity Lisa Reilly spotted a photo of the dog and immediately decided she would take him home, the thing is Meaty was very alike Lisa's former dog, who died just three months before.
The family named him Meatball, or shortly Meaty, but he also known by other names. For example Meatster. And when he joins Lisa's husband during his walk to his job, and he's a police officer doggie become McMeat the Crime Fighting Dog.
In his new home Meaty is not alone, he joined a harmonious and extremely cute squad of his 4 fellow dogs, two pit bulls just like him, Punky and Ricardo Tubbs respectfully, and two dachshunds Bitty and Dappe.
All 5 of them get along splendidly and love to cuddle and sleep together.
On the photo below you can see the group awaiting for their new friend.
"One benefit to having a fat dog is that he's extremely treat motivated. He's also extremely toy motivated and loves to play. So he's willing to 'work' for any toy or treat, which makes taking pictures of him so easy." — explains Lisa Reilly.
Apparently that's how she manages to take all these extra cute photos in various outfits!
