This man is afraid to leave his own house because people think he is a paedophile, because his 32-year-old girlfriend looks underage!

Police instructed 42-year-old Shakey Finks to carry a photocopy of his girlfriend’s driving license to prove her age.

The poor man with no criminal record has been threatened multiple times just because his girlfriend looks young.

It has gone so far that a photo warning of him has been circulating local schools.

Shakey said: "Apparently I rape little boys in Stonehouse and little girls in Devonport. I've been to the police about it. I've had a complete background check done. I don't have a criminal background, I haven't been arrested or charged with anything in my life.”

"Jessica is very small, petite and doesn't look her age - that's where all this has come from," he continues.

His girlfriend said: "If he goes to the local shop people mention things. One lady told him to get away from her kids and said that his photo had been circulated around the local schools. He walks past the pub and people outside tell him to get out of town, even people walking past the flat say things.”

"I used to go to a pilates class and he walked to meet me there once in floods of tears because he'd met someone on the street on the way there who had shouted abuse at him,” she recalls.

She adds that her boyfriend is now afraid to go anywhere.

Jessica has now been to the police three times in the past six months.

She concludes: "This has deeply upset us both as these allegations are wholly untrue, and has caused us both to suffer from anxiety and depression. I can completely understand parents' worries in this day and age. However the abuse of an innocent person based only on rumours is completely wrong, and is even slanderous."
