- The President of Zimbabwe ordered that the whole Zimbabwean Olympic team be arrested upon arrival
- The team consisting of 31 athletes failed to win a single medal in all events, which was a source of great distress for the President
- A similar statement was recently issued by the leader of Best Korea who ordered all 'underperforming athletes' to slave away in coal mines
Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe, who is best known for ruining the country’s economy with hyper-inflation, has recently ordered that all athletes that competed in the 2016 Olympic Games be arrested for failing to win a medal.
A similar reaction came from North Korean bad boy Kim Jong-Un, who sent all athletes he thought were underperforming in the Olympics to work in coal mines. Nonetheless, North Koreans brought seven medals home, two of which were gold.
Mugabe told his commissioner general to arrest the entire Zimbabwean Olympic team, none of whom finished above the 8 place in any event.
"We have wasted the country's money on these rats we call athletes. If you are not ready to sacrifice and win even copper or brass medals as our neighbours Botswana did, then why do you go to waste our money," Mugabe stated.
