– 15-year-old was regularly visited by older men who pushed her into drug dealing and prostitution
– She suffered so much abuse that it’s believed she had developed severe personality disorders
– Girl finally died of a speedball overdose – mix of heroin and methamphetamine
CCTV caught few older men apparently creeping into the room of a vulnerable teenage girl who later died of a drug overdose has been screened at the inquest into her tragic death.
15-year-old, known only as “Girl X”, reportedly died in 2014 of a speedball overdose – a lethal mix of heroin and methamphetamine. It happened after multiple visits from older men who exploited her vulnerability to push her into drug dealing and prostitution, as the court reports.
Teen had been raped by workers at a different care facility on the regular basis. One expert even believe she would most likely have developed a “severe personality disorder”.
A male caseworker giving evidence at the inquest said the abuse she had received throughout her life was some of the worst he had seen in 26-year-career.
"She was the child who had the least reason to trust adults. If a young person had the right to tell an adult to f*** off, it was her. If you could write a text book on how to traumatize a child, it would be (Girl X)."
Creepy footage shows a man entering the girl's room two nights before her death. He took heroin with her and woke up the next morning to find her unconscious and barely breathing.
He called for help and although paramedics were able to re-start the girls heart she never regained consciousness. She died in hospital the next morning.
That case has since been dropped.
