- Bedliner is a protective coating usually used on truck beds to protect the metal from being damaged by the cargo and the elements
- These guys wanted to check how tough bedliner really is so they coated a watermelon in the stuff and decided to drop it from a 45 meter tower
- The watermelon bounced off the ground but it was intact structurally, although everything inside was turned to mush
These guys covered a watermelon in bedliner and dropped it off a 45 meter tower.
The bedliner in question was Line-X, a spray that is usually used to coat the bed of trucks to protect them against damage that could be caused by cargo. In addition, the bedliner protects against the elements, preventing rust and chemical contamination.
The product mostly sees use in military and commercial vehicles.

Well these guys just wanted to check how durable the stuff really is and coated a thick layer of bedliner on a watermelon. The watermelon was dropped from a 45 meter tower!
As it touches the ground it bounces off the ground and flies a couple of meters into the air.
Although the watermelon had maintained its structural integrity inside everything is mush. So probably coating your head with bedliner is not a good substitute to a motorcycle helmet.
