Using our voice to pray for conscience that does not judge

Using our voice to pray for conscience that does not judge

"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." - Matthew 5:44

As we go through our day, as we see or hear many things, we pray that we would maintain an open mind and heart and voice that would not go around passing judgments. Today, let us call unto the Lord, that we may build bridges instead of walls between and among ourselves and our nations.

God of everything good, Father of light and darkness,

Today, we lift our souls to You once again

for safekeeping, to care and protect, to nourish and shape our life and world.

Lord, grant us grace to focus our minds, especially in times of prayer, when we converse with You.

Loving God,today we ask for Your guiding hands to lead us beyond ourselves

Give us a wise and understanding mind, that which will help us succeed

to stop the motions of our wandering heads, and the desires of our unstable hearts.

Suppress the power of our vain imaginations and wayward voices, Lord, and draw us into heavenly thoughts.

Using our voice to pray for conscience that does not judge

Teach us your way, o Father,

when we do not know what to do, let us hear Your words

that we may discern things that differ and may approve what is excellent,

Grant that we may all be pure and blameless for the glory of Your name.

Take up all our evil and judgemental thoughts, Lord,

We pray that Your grace would shield our eyes that we may abstain from vain and hurtful sights,

Bless us with an open mind, Father

that we may see or hear someone, and not pass judgment on them

We pray, Father God, that our love may abound more and with knowledge and all discernment,

Fill us with righteousness that our voice may be used not to judge but to glorify and praise You.

Lord, may everything we do begin with your inspiration and continue with your help,

That all our prayers and works may begin in You and by You be happily ended.

This we ask, in the Lord's name.

Amen. - Kami Media
