- A before-and-after photo of a young woman in Quezon City has gone viral

- The photos show a woman who looks healthy and happy turning into someone who looks very sick and sad

- The Facebook user who posted the photo alleged that Rochelle’s boyfriend physically abused her which led to her paralysis and tuberculosis

A before-and-after photo of a 23-year-old woman in Quezon City went viral. The “before” photo shows a young woman filled with joy and confidence, while her “after” photo shows her looking very weak, fragile, sad and severely ill.

According to the viral Facebook post, the woman in the photos is Rochelle Quitoriano. She has a live-in partner and they have a 3-year-old child.

The viral post accused the boyfriend of beating up and abusing Rochelle. Due to her injuries, the woman lost her ability to walk.

She also acquired tuberculosis in the process of being abused, which could be a deadly disease if left untreated. Rochelle has also acquired lumps on her chest and back area, according to the post.

The Facebook user also claimed that the boyfriend continues to beat up the woman despite her severe disability and illness.

According to the viral post, Rochelle needs help from other online users for her medical treatment. The post also encourages netizens to visit Rochelle in her home at #81 Sto. Niño Street, Brgy. Holy Spirit,Quezon City to verify the story.

Netizens posted their support for the abused woman.

“God will heal you, miss Rochelle. Keep the faith and we are all praying for your recovery,” an online user wrote.

Other netizens pointed out that the Facebook user who posted Rochelle’s story should ask help from the local government and not from strangers on the internet. They also said that going to the woman’s house to verify the story is a very dangerous thing to do for netizens because it could lead to abductions or kidnappings.

“Sa nag post po, mas makaka-tulong po sa inyo ang pinaka malapit na barangay,” an online user advised.
