A truck hit a store in China after it drifts in a slippery road.
A surveillance footage went viral after a drifting truck hit a store on the roadside. Based on the video, a cement truck drifted over 30 meters on a sharp curve. Its rear end hit the store and a concrete put a stop on the truck. It was also seen that a person is getting inside the store and was almost hit by the truck. The condition of the person is still unknown.
According to CCTV News, the incident happened in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Traffic police’s investigation revealed that the truck driver stepped on the brake too late and too hard while taking a sharp turn on a slippery road causing for the truck to drift.
Although the driver has been blamed for the incident, the insurer of the truck was responsible for compensating the store owner for the damage on the property.
Drifting is a driving technique that can be fun and dangerous as it involves stepping on the brakes too hard in order to make a sharp turn even while you are speeding.
