- A video of a man hugging, playing and cuddling with lions in the wild went viral
- The man in the video is Kevin Richardson, known as “the lion whisperer”
- Richardson had become best friends with lions without giving them food or shelter
A video of a zoologist hugging, playing, resting and interacting with lions in the wild had gone viral, with many netizens in shock how the man was able to create this unbelievable bond with the predators.
Kevin Richardson is known as “the lion whisperer,” and the title is very easy to believe while watching this video. Most animal experts believe that this is the strongest and closest relationship a human being has ever had with lions – known for being aggressive against humans.
Looking at the video, viewers can see that the relationship between Richardson and the lions is something special since Richardson does not feed or provide shelter for the predators.
The lions act like love-sick puppies around the zoologist – playing and cuddling with the man when they can just easily kill and eat him if they wanted to.
However, the lion whisperer is actually an advocate against poaching. Richardson believes that the hunting of lions in Africa could lead to the species’ extinction in the future.
The online community has been swept away by the bond between man and animal.
“You can tell they love him,” a netizen wrote.
Other netizens were amazed that the lions in the wild could display so much restraint while playing and cuddling with the fragile body of Richardson.
“Small cats sometimes bite and scratch even though they love their human, how come these big cats don't do that? Cause obviously if they did, Kevin wouldn't be with us no more,” an online user posted.
Some netizens also slammed the humans who hunt lions for profit.
“Humans have no right to KILL these majestic animals,” an online user said.
