Being the son of the strongman and the late President Ferdinand Marcos, Former Senator Bongbong Marcos might have had a glimpse of how his father would want him to become.
Though he is known for being a fighter, he surely has a soft spot, and that is his wife.
Yesterday, August 21, the former senator greeted his wife, Liza on her birthday. He posted a photo of the two of them and wrote on the caption: “Happy Birthday my love! I am a happy man because I found a true friend & ally in my wife. You and the kids are my true wealth in life. Nothing beats growing old with you #SalamatLIZA”.
Some of the couple’s friends and supporters also greeted Mrs. Marcos on her special day:
Aida Guerra: “Happy birthday maam, we love you and your family, regards po sa aming Vice President Bongbong Marcos, we love you all! GOD bless po!”
Consuelo Munar: “From the home of Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, sending you warm Happy Birthday greetings Liza. May the Good Lord bless and keep you. May the Lord continue to shower you with abundant blessings of love, joy and peace.”

It was not the first “sweet moment” of the couple. March last year, the two were spotted holding hands before riding the MRT. According to reports, they were trying to catch the Crosby Stills & Nash concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
The former senator said in a text message: “Masyadong ma-traffic ang EDSA. Pero punong-puno din ‘yung tren pero mabilis lang ang byahe."
(The traffic was really bad in EDSA. But the train was also packed yet the travel time was fast.)
Bongbong and Liza first met in New York when she was working as a lawyer and he was there to attend his mother’s trial. - Kami Media
