Kadayawan Festival is Davao City's annual festival that is held to celebrate thanksgiving for life, nature, and abundant harvest.

One of the most anticipated events of the festival is the "Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan", a street dance competition among contingents from regions in Mindanao.

People from different parts of the country and even foreigners travel all their way to Davao to join in the celebration.

The Davao Tourism office stated:  “As the longest-running community festival in Mindanao, Kadayawan has metamorphosed into a grand celebration that honors Davao’s rich cultural heritage and the many blessings bestowed on the city.” - Kami Media
