- A video of a man who drowned went viral as no one was able to save the man
- Onlookers were unable to administer proper CPR, which the patient needed
- Knowing CPR is a very handy skill when going to the beach due to unforeseen accidents
A video of an unfortunate incident of a man who drowned went viral as no one was able to save him.
The video showed an unconscious man lying on the beach and people around him started screaming for help. A few men tried to save the man by carrying him upside down. The men also tried to pump the guy’s stomach.
The family of the victim was seen screaming and crying, which is understandable since they are in the state of panic. The video ended and the man is still unconscious and the true condition of the man is unverified.
However, no one was able to administer a proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the patient. CPR is an emergency procedure that involves a combination of chest compression and artificial ventilation to restore respiration and blood circulation. It is obvious that none of the people are knowledgeable in emergency procedures.
Moreover, the screams exacerbated the situation by making the other people panic. The crowd of people did not help as well as it limited the circulation of air needed by the patient.
