Aren’t French Bulldogs the cutest and funniest dogs in the world? A viral video of a French Bulldog losing its consciousness after sniffing its master’s smelly armpit has swept the online community.
The video shows a topless Japanese man talking with another person through a video chat. The bored pet dog suddenly became curious and started to smell its owner’s armpit. This is a wrong move on the part of the dog.
The Frenchie immediately passed out after sniffing the smelly armpit which surprised the owner. After seeing that the dog is still asleep after a few seconds, the concerned owner picked up the dog and tried to wake it up. However, the strong smell of the armpit was just too much for the poor dog.
Compared to the humans’ 6 million olfactory receptors in their noses, dogs possess around 300 million olfactory receptors! According to experts, a dog’s sense of smell is 40 times greater than a human’s.
This means that the smelly armpit was 40 times worse for the poor dog. No wonder it immediately fainted after smelling the arm pit!
The online community posted about how much laughter they got because of the video. Other netizens also commented about the poor situation of the French bulldog.
“Poor dog, he has to live with that smell,” an online user said.
“Ain't this some form of animal cruelty?” another netizen asked.
Some online users also pointed out that the pet owner should probably improve his hygienic habits so that his dog would not suffer from his smell.
“I think it's time he had a shower. Or at least invest in a can of deodorant,” a netizen wrote.
