The footage shows Taylor Masilotti lying with her terminally ill mother Donna Callender, who had stage four brain and lung cancer, as they both watching a screen with an ultrasound.
By 20th week of Taylor’s pregnancy her mom was too week to go to the appointment with her, so she decided to come to Donna’s hospital ward to make an ultrasound right there.
That’s what Taylor wrote on her Facebook page:
“Wednesday afternoon was one of my forever favorite memories I got to share with my mom,' Taylor wrote on Facebook. I got to lay next to her, hold her hand and cry happy tears while we found out the gender of the baby.
“I can't thank the hospital enough for allowing this to happen. For allowing me to create my last memory with my mom!
“I am forever grateful! I love you so much.”
You can see in the video as the doctor says to Taylor and her mom: “Are you ready?You have a daughter.” Donna then says “No way!” while Taylor turning to her with tears in her eyes as they share a moment together.
Sad part is that Donna dies just three days after this touching moment.
Taylor and Donna called the unborn child Stella and Kay was Donna's middle name.
