- Facebook user Champagne Sy posted on August 10 photos of her 7-month-old baby
- In her post, she regretted bringing her baby Sophia Hope to the hospital because it only worsened her child's condition
- Her baby didn't make it and passed away because of complication
It has only been a week or two since the untimely death of baby Sophia Hope. Champagne Sy thought that bringing her daughter to the hospital was the best solution but what happened was the opposite.
There’s nothing more painful for a mother than losing a child she carried in her womb for 9 months. The pain it brought lingers.
Champagne can still remember every moment she and baby Sophia had been through. How she lost her baby – she can still recall in her memory – fresh and vivid.

Baby Sophia was as lively and fun-loving as usual. The medical team has not done anything yet to her.

Baby Sophia has just finished feeding on her milk. A minor sign of indisposition can be seen in her because of her mild vomiting but she still had a strong appetite and normal milk consumption.
The doctors requested to have her milk consumption stopped in the meantime. Afterwards, they said they would inject something in her and then had her undergone a CT scan. Champagne was devastated when the doctors told that her baby has a meningitis and mild hydrocephalus.

Baby Sophia was transferred to another hospital. Several apparatuses were attached to her young body, different medicines were inserted to her, and the doctors won’t allow to have her slightest dose of milk.
That time, Sophia can’t open her eyes which became swollen from too much antibiotic. Champagne can’t do anything but cry and feel sorry for her baby.

Baby Sophia had another X-Ray examination. It was revealed that she also has pneumonia. Champagne didn’t know what to believe anymore.
“Ang lagi lang nila sinasabi (what they would always say) is complication cause of infection,” she recalled.

They then had Sophia transferred to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). In a span of 24 hours, Champagne was only given an hour to visit her baby from 5-6pm. Beyond that time, she’ll be scolded if she got caught taking a glimpse of her baby through a small mirror outside the room.

Seven days without either water or milk intake, Baby Sophia suffered from dehydration and got even thinner. Baby Sophia had a hard time breathing, so the doctors needed to insert a tube to help her breathe.
After that, her baby’s condition deteriorated and got worse.
Baby Sophia didn't make it.
May you now rest in peace little angel. - Kami Media
