Karen Bordador helped boyfriend in selling drugs said police

- Karen Bordador and boyfriend Emilio Lim were nabbed by authorities for allegedly selling drugs

- Police said that Bordador helped Lim in selling ecstasy to buyers before they were arrested

DJ Karen Bordador was allegedly in cohorts with her boyfriend in selling the illegal drug, ecstasy, before she was arrested. This was in accordance to the statement released by the police on Tuesday, August 16.

Bordador, according to the Naitonal Capital Region Police Office’s statement, was helping Emilio Lim, the suspected drug supplier, at the latter’s condominium unit in selling ecstasy to a buyer.

The FHM model and Lim were tagged as the drug supplier by Evan Reanald Baylon, Fil-Am, who was also previously arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation at The Fort. The Fil-Am was caught red-handed as he was selling the prohibited drug to a poseur buyer at Uptown Bonifacio.

After Bordador and Lim were tagged by Baylon, police operatives conducted an entrapment operation on August 13 at the Skyway Twin Tower Condominium, Oranbo, Pasig City, where Lim was staying. That very same day, they were caught by operatives from both the Eastern Police District and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Both Bordador and Lim even tried to resist arrest. They attempted to close the condominium unit’s door, to no avail. The arrest led to the discovery of incriminating evidence which includes ecstasy tablets, cracked ecstasy, ecstasy powder, marijuana leaves, etc.

Aside from the drugs, which could fetch approximately P2.8 million, there were also drug paraphernalia found at the condominium and also money counting machines.

Both Bordador and Lim were charged for violating several sections of the Dangerous Drugs Act including Section 5, Section 11, Section 12 and Section 26. Said sections include sale of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of paraphernalia for dangerous drugs.

The two are now under the custody of the Southern Police District Detention Facility.
