- Investigations are still ongoing ten months after the incident happened

An unidentified man was caught on video withdrawing at least Php10,000 from an ATM owned by a person who has been missing for at least 10 months already.

The ATM of John Kevin Tarusan Dino was being used by an unidentified person in an ATM machine in Makati six days after Dino went missing.

The closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage only shows the man wearing a blue hat, making it difficult for the officials to identify him. In another CCTV footage, the same man was also seen withdrawing money using the same ATM card.

According to officials, although the withdrawal took place six days after Dino went missing, it was only in December that the CCTV footage was released by the bank.

Kevin, a cadet engineer, went missing on October 24, 2015, at around 10:30 PM, according to a Facebook post by Eleanor Turusan Dino, the mother of the victim.

In an interview, Eleanor said that her son was last seen at Pearl Place Building located at 9001 Pearl Drive corner Gold loop, Ortigas Center, Brgy. San Antonio, Pasig City.

Eleanor hopes that the authorities would soon find Kevin and identify the man in the CCTV footage, in case he has information about or has something to do with his missing son especially because the man has her son’s ATM and PIN code.

The victim’s family also disclosed that the company where Kevin used to work has not been cooperating with them in the investigations. The company argued that Kevin has already “timed out” in the company, thus they no longer have responsibility whatsoever.

Furthermore, the Pasig police did not take the time to look into the case. Eleanor said that the policemen said that it is difficult to look for a missing person. She added that the policemen even advised her to seek the help of a card reader instead.

However, in a text message, the Eastern Police District said that they will work hand in hand with Kevin’s family to expedite the investigation, locate their missing son, and identify the man who withdrew money using Kevin’s ATM card.

Kevin is 23 years old and is at about 5’4 in height. If you have any information of this missing person, contact
