HIGHLIGHT: In 1998, when Kobe Bryant visited the Philippines for the first time for a promotional run of a shoe brand he was endorsing, a rare footage of Black Mamba clad in barong tagalog shows a Kobe dancing in a Tinikling footwork.
This dancing v-log of Bryant surfaced the social media in that time.
UniPro (Pilipino-American Unity for Progress) posted its link on their page captioned as, "In honor of Kobe Bryant’s last NBA game today, check out this video of him wearing a Barong Tagalog and dancing Tinikling in Manila back in 1998."
It would appear that the intricate footwork which brought the Black Mamba far and wide in his career in the court, surprisingly fit in well between the bamboo sticks.
Bryant just played his last NBA game. Many have expressed their love and support for the basketball star, his sportsmanship and what he has done for the world of basketball.
So, what do you of Kobe Bryant dancing Filipino gem Tinikling? You be the judge.
