- Mocha Uson told her bashers to do something more helpful and useful with their lives instead of using their time to criticize others
- She also clarified that she has not been appointed as the Customs’ social media consultant
- However, she said that she volunteered to help the agency without getting anything in return
After receiving plenty of criticisms from her bashers, singer and dancer Mocha Uson sent a strong message by telling them to do something more constructive with their lives.
"Kaysa mag-bash po tayo, ang advice ko eh lumabas po iyong mga bashers sa kalsada at umaksyon, tumulong po tayo (Instead of bashing people, my advice for you is to get outside, take action and help). Make good use of your time," Uson advised.
As for her detractors that have been posting her past sexy pictorials and social media posts to discredit and criticize her, Uson told them that she is trying to change for the better as influenced by President Rodrigo Duterte. The singer is one of the most vocal supporters of Duterte.
Mocha Uson also clarified that she has not been officially appointed by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) as its social media consultant. She said that she volunteered to help the agency without getting anything in return.
“Walang official statement na si Mocha Uson ang social media consultant ng BoC. ‘Wag po kayo mag-alala hindi po mapupunta sa akin ang tax ninyo. Walang ganun kasi ako ang nagboluntaryo na tumulong po sa lahat po ng ahensiya ng ating gobyerno,” the singer explained.
(There is no official statement that Mocha Uson is the social media consultant of the BOC. Do not get worried because your tax money will not be given to me. There is no such thing because I volunteered to help all of the agencies of our government.)
The singer added that the real reason she visited the BOC is to voice out her concerns about the excessive tax collection for the boxes coming from Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Mocha Uson also expressed her plans to visit Vice President Leni Robredo to tell her about the housing problems faced by many Filipinos today.
