This was part of a marketing campaign for TD Bank in Canada. The ATM machines were transformed from Automatic Transaction Machines to Automatic Thanking Machines for the campaign. The machines ‘thanked’ 30 000 clients with $20 thank you blessings, but some clients were in for a more personal surprise.
The bank workers picked out twelve of their constant clients for a special surprise. One women got school cash for her two children and tickets to Disneyland. She held back tears because she couldn’t afford to take her children anywhere.
The most touching gift was probably when a woman was offered tickets to Trinidad so she could visit her daughter who just underwent cancer surgery.
