This following video shows a terminally ill mother seeing her dog, Ritchie, for the last time. She granted her dying wish to be reunited with her lovely pet.

After a long battle with cancer this woman, Rebane Chili, 49, decided to stop her treatment. This mother said she had not seen her dog since being admitted to the Hospital Ernesto Dornelles in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

She asked doctors to organize a final reunion. Following video shows this dog overjoyed to see her again after so long.

This footage has gone viral on social media. The meeting takes place in a special room due to security reasons, after approval by the hospital's Palliative Care Group.

Her sister said: "It's all for her that dog. She loves that dog like she loves her son. Since three months she has had that puppy. She could not wait to see it, it was very exciting, despite the pain," reports Globo.com.

"She was already in a process of greater gathering, was able to express herself and became more talkative, more active", sister adds.

The YouTube video of the pair now has over 250,000 views.
