Baby Zia, daughter of celebrity royal couple DongYan, will soon appear in her first television commercial.
And she's getting paid more than her parents!
In an interview with Pep.ph, Marian Rivera revealed that Maria Letizia's talent fee is higher than hers or Dingdong Dantes'.
But the GMA Primetime Queen clarifies that their daughter's earnings will all go to a separate bank account, which they will give access to Zia once she turns eighteen.
Marian said: "Ni isang kusing, wala kaming kukunin sa kanya. (We won't take any amount, not even a single centavo)."
There are at least 10 product endorsements lined up for Baby Zia. The first is a joint endorsement with her mommy.
Proud father Dingdong shared on Instagram a sneak peak of the photo shoot, captioning it with "Stage fathering 101."
Marian shared with Pep.ph how natural and easy it was to shoot the commercial with her daughter.
"May time off lang kami na mag-dede siya, after that, go na ulit kaming dalawa. Parang ako ang nag-give-up. Ang anak ko, sige lang, smile-smile lang, walang tantrums or nag-attitude talaga," said Marian.
(We just take milk breaks, after that we shoot again. It's me who seems to want to give up. My daughter, she keeps smiling, no tantrums at all.)
Marian also shared that she shed a tear when she saw the commercial. She felt so proud seeing her first-ever endorsement with Baby Zia.
Although Baby Zia is now officially a product endorser, her mom makes it clear that movies are still off limits.
Marian said they want their daughter to finish her studies first before entering showbiz, if ever acting is what Baby Zia would want to do.
