A Cebu Pacific stewardess is reportedly planning to sue a female passenger for allegedly abusing her physically and verbally. The abuse purportedly occurred when the flight attendant refused to stow the passenger’s luggage during a recent flight.
According to a Facebook user named and Cebu Pacific flight attendant Madel Ty, she tried to step in as the cabin crew leader on behalf of her colleague who was being berated by the passenger for not giving adequate help in carrying her luggage.
“Basta the bottom line (The bottom line is), kaming mga cabin crew/flight steward our main priorities (Our main priorities as cabin crew members) are your safety and not to carry or lift your bags,” Ty wrote on Facebook.
Ty added that the passenger also belittled the cabin crew and cursed at them.
“Ang kinasasama lang ng loob ko sa napakasimpleng bag na ‘di ma stow nang maayos kailangan mo kaming sabihan na ‘your job is to assist passengers, kumbaga sa bus, mga konduktor kayo! Go*****it!’” the flight attendant narrated.
(What makes me angry is that you had to tell us ‘your job is to assist passengers, you are like conductors in a bus! Go*****it!’ just because we were not able to stow your bag properly.)
After their argument, Ty said that she tried to apologize was still slapped in the face by the irate passenger. She added that her parents did not raise her up and give her a good education just to be physically abused and belittled by other people.
Ty’s post was accompanied by pictures showing the redness on her cheek and neck after getting slapped by the passenger. She also pointed out that she has a lot of witnesses to back her story.
