Filipinos have always been looking up to hearing the president's State of the Nation Address (SONA) every year as it only happens once a year especially now that the Philippines has a new president. In SONA, the president gives a lengthy speech about the current state of the Philippines, the accomplishments made, and the future plans.
Besides the plans, Filipinos have been anticipating what the attendees are wearing and most especially 'who' they are wearing. That all changed, however, this year when they announced a change of dress code to stick to business attire since it is "not a fashion show," Duterte's camp said.
It is quite exciting to see how the attendees will be adhering to the rules or if they are going to stick to the old tradition of wearing their outlandish and expensive outfits.
