Here's a recipe that will let you prepare your breakfast the night before and just let the slow cooker do its job. How about that? Well, scroll down for this French Toast recipe your family will surely love!
1.Toss slices of any type of bread (even day-old bread works well) into your slow cooker. You can break them into bite-size pieces or leave them as is.
2. For the mixture, mix eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and milk. You can also be a little creative when making the base flavor of your french toast. You can try to add in a little bit of orange liquor too instead of vanilla extract.
3. Pour the mixture over your bread and make sure that each slice is thoroughly coated.
4. Add a generous helping of brown sugar over everything and then cover your slow cooker. Let it cook for a few hours or overnight.
5. When you wake up, you will be welcomed with a hot and freshly-cooked french toast. You can top it with some fresh fruit, maple syrup, or whipped cream before serving.
