Actor Gerald Anderson performed a song number in ABS-CBN’s “ASAP” with actress and former love interest Bea Alonzo for the first time after years of working together in the said program.
Anderson and Alonzo performed “Ambon”, a Barbie Almalbis’ hit, which is also their movie’s official sound track.
Alonzo, in an interview said that prior to the performance; the two discussed how despite working together in the same show for years now, the two never had a chance to sing in a number together.
Meanwhile, Anderson when asked about the romance with Alonzo back in 2010 said that he was to be blamed for the short-lived romantic relationship between the two.
"Bata pa ako noon,” (I was young back then) Anderson said in an interview with TV host Boy Abunda during his guesting on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" Tuesday.
It can be recalled that Anderson expressed his desire to court Alonzo back in 2010 after breaking up with Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Kim Chiu who also emerged as the winner of the reality television show.
During the same interview, Anderson also said that he feels closer to Alonzo more than ever describing the experience to be surreal.
Anderson, who grew up in the US, also admitted that Alonzo was her childhood crush saying that he used to watch Alonzo even as a child despite not being able to understand Filipino.
Anderson and Alonzo will star in a new Star Cinema film, "How To Be Yours”. Dan Villegas, who also directed blockbuster films “English Only Please” and “Walang Forever” among others, will direct the said film. -MR, Kami Media
