Congresswoman Leni Robredo is open to work with any of the four presidential candidates, despite her preference towards her running mate Secretary Mar Roxas.
She said in an ANC interview: "If I would have my way, mas gusto kong si Secretary Mar yung manalo kung mananalo ako kasi magiging buo yung gusto kong gawin as vice-president kung siya ang president ko."
(If I would have my way, I would like it more for Secretary Mar to win with me because we would be able to compliment each other.)
But if things should not go as expected, she said she would still give the same level of commitment, even if someone else were voted president.
The Pulse Asia survey, conducted from March 29 to April 3, showed that her running mate is at a statistical tie with Vice President Jejomar Binay at the third place. If the elections had been done that week, Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte would have won according to over 4, 000 respondents.
Congresswoman Leni placed at second in the same survey, trailing behind Senator Bongbong Marcos. However, with the positive reception she got from the Vice Presidential debates, public favor might still change.
