On the edge of Guatemala, the capital of Guatemala, there’s a dump, that’s been nicknamed “The Mine.” Villagers from the outskirts of Guatemala come here to dig out pieces of scrap-metal to sell.

Despite the risk of being buried under the mountains of garbage, hundreds of “miners” keep working here, because the average income of a “miner” is twice the minimum wage.
