DLSU skidded to the second spot with a 10-3 win-loss record. Regardless of the turn-out in the match between the Lady Spikers and the National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs on Wednesday, April 13, 3:30 p.m. at the San Juan Arena, DLSU is already guaranteed of a twice-to-beat advantage.
Shall NU win over La Salle, the Lady Bulldogs will have to face the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons to determine who gets the final slot in the Final 4. The winner of that face-off will then battle it out with Ateneo to be in the finals.
DLSU and Far Eastern University (FEU), which is in the third spot with a 9-5 win-loss record, will take on each other to reach the UAAP season 78 women’s volleyball finals.
Will there be another Ateneo-DLSU match this season? No one can tell for sure. It still is anybody’s ballgame.
