- The couple wished to be wed in the island as it was where they first met and got engaged
- Garcia shared that she is almost done with the wedding preparations and recalled the initial time they met
Actress Valerie ‘Bangs’ Garcia indulged viewers of ‘Magandang Buhay’ about her wedding plans on Tuesday morning. She was set to tie the knot with her Filipino-British beau Llyodi Birchmore at two locations; a beach wedding in Boracay and second ceremony in London as well.
The couple plans to celebrate their special day early next year, with Garcia busy with the preparations. She confessed of being absorbed with all the arrangement and has successfully accomplished at least eighty percent on her list.
Garcia recalled when they initially met and how it was like a scene straight from a movie, jokingly adding that slow motion was even present in the moment. The artist was spending the New Year’s at the popular tourist destination when Birchmore approached her with no idea of her showbiz background. She considered this as a good sign, reasoning out that the beginning of their relationship up to now had proven to be genuine. The soon-to-be bride gushed on how she and her fiancé seemed to be stuck in their own little world, conversing about the important matters in life in a span of a few minutes.
The island has become full of memories and momentous occasions for the pair as Birchmore proposed to Garcia at the same place early this year. A clip was shared by the actress’ friend and Star Magic artist Marlann Flores on her Instagram account.
Birchmore was the ‘best gift she had ever received,’ Garcia says. She openly expressed how she felt so blessed and that her relationship with him has brought her closer to God. She confessed of being in total sync with her husband-to-be and how she considered it as a rare opportunity to stumble upon someone who you’re not only compatible with physically, but with other aspects as well.
When people had been telling her how she has been more blooming since then, Garcia claimed that God is the ‘root of her happiness,’ and Birchmore was the ‘fruit.’
