Jimmy Bondoc, a known Duterte supporter has been named as the new assistant Vice president for PAGCOR's Entertainment department.
A few days ago, Arnell Ignacio informed the Filipinos of his new post as the assistant vice president (AVP) for Community Relations and Services department in the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) through a Facebook post. Now, Jimmy Bondoc has risen to the spotlight as he confirms his new position in the same agency.
The music icon shared news of being the newly-appointed AVP for Entertainment through a lengthy Facebook post.
Bondoc is aware that even though there are people who support President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision of offering him the job, there are still those who do not believe in his capabilities. In response, he asked the readers to consider his post as an overview of his credentials for the work.
He boasts of attending the esteemed Ateneo de Manila University since he was a child down to the very last moments of his academic career. The musician has not been simply attending the well-respected school; he was also a part of the honors’ class during his entire stay.

Initially, he took up Business Management Honors as his primary course but ended up shifting to AB Communication. He chalked this up as his personal choice, determining his character even as of today that he will always be (and always was) an entertainer.
The entertainer also expressed that he has begun learning the ropes of his job, even adding that his working hours start from 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening.
Bondoc insists that despite whatever the naysayers may quip, it is a ‘done deal’. However, he assures them through promises: He claims that he is willing to serve in hopes that he could do right by the next generation. If he was ever caught or reported to have ill-gotten wealth, he was more than willing to have his hands cut off. And lastly, Bondoc persists in continuing making music.
