Fans and followers of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” got an early treat when Isaac Hempstead Wright, the English actor playing Bran Stark, arrived in Singapore for a fan meet on Apr. 2 to promote the sixth season of the hit series and HBO Asia's “The Game Of Thrones Experience: Worlds Of Westeros” event.
The fan meet was held at Ion Orchard's Basement 4 Atrium. Fans who turned up for the event sang Happy Birthday to the English actor when they found out that he would turn 17 on April 9.
Worlds of Westeros is an interactive exhibit where fans can have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Seven Kingdoms, sit on the Iron Throne, see actual props and swords used in the series, or strike a pose with Daenerys Targaryen's dragon, Drogon. The interactive event at Ion Orchard opened on Apr. 2 and will run until Apr. 7 from 10am. to 10pm. Admission is free to the public.
Adapted from George R.R. Martin’s hit book series A Song of Ice and Fire, the sixth season of medieval fantasy series will premiere on April 24. TV Fans and readers of the book series will have equal footing in the sixth season, as George Martin is yet to finish the sixth book, Winds of Winter.
