- ER Ejercito posted on Facebook that he wanted former President Noynoy Aquino to be imprisoned for his supposed crimes against the country
- Ejercito had said that Aquino was incompetent as a president and that he [Aquino] has dished out selective justice against those who opposed him
- Ejercito also complained about being the only one who was ousted from his post out of more than a thousand elected officials who were accused of overspending during the 2013 elections.
Emilio Ramon Pelayo Ejercito III, more commonly known as E.R. Ejercito, posted on Facebook that former President Benigno “PNoy” Aquino III should be imprisoned for his supposed sins against the country.
“IPAKULONG NA SI NOYNOY AQUINO SA LALONG MADALING PANAHON DAHIL SA PALPAK NA PAMAMAHALA NIYA SA BANSANG PILIPINAS AT SA MGA KASALANAN NIYA SA TAONG BAYAN GAYA NG KASO NIYA SA DAP, PDAF, EDCA, MRT, MALAMPAYA FUNDS, LAGUNA LAKE REHAB, MAMASAPANO SAF 44 AT IBA PANG KASO,” Ejercito said on Saturday, July 2.
(Noynoy Aquino should be imprisoned as soon as possible because of his failed administration in the Philippines and for his sins against the public like his issues with DAP, PDAF, EDCA, MRT, Malampaya funds, Laguna Lake rehab, Mamasapano SAF 44, and other cases.)
The actor and former governor of Laguna also accused Aquino of abusing his power during his presidency against politicians who opposed him.
Ejercito was unseated as the governor of Laguna by the Commission on Elections for allegedly overspending during his election campaign in 2013. He initially resisted the decision but was convinced 3 days later by his uncle, former President and current Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
“KAGAYA NI CHIEF JUSTICE RENATO CORONA AT GENERAL ANGELO REYES, AKO DIN PO AY ISA SA MGA KAWAWANG BIKTIMA NG SELECTIVE INJUSTICE NG VINDICTIVE AT INCOMPETENT NA PRESIDENTE NOYNOY AQUINO—DAHIL SA MAHIGIT ISANG LIBONG OPISYAL NA MAY KASONG OVERSPENDING—AKO LAMANG PO ANG NAG-IISANG HALAL NA OPISYAL NA TINANGGAL SA POSISYON SAMANTALANG ANG IBANG OPISYAL AY PINAGBAYAD LAMANG NG CASH FINE AS PENALTY,” Ejercito explained.
(Like Chief Justice Renato Corona and General Angelo Reyes, I was also a poor victim of selective injustice committed by the vindictive and incompetent President Noynoy Aquino – out of over a thousand elected officials who overspent – I am the only one who was unseated while the others only paid a cash fine as their penalty.)
Earlier this year, ER Ejercito has also made another Facebook post expressing blatant hatred towards what he then called "dirty Noynoy Aquino Government" while at the same time urging the Filipinos not to be sad because of the "fair and competent new president" personified by Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Aquino’s six-year term as the country’s president recently ended, with newly sworn-in President Rodrigo Duterte replacing him in Malacañang. Duterte has earlier said that imprisoning Aquino is not a priority for his administration.
