Anne Curtis is currently undergoing kali martial arts training in preparation for her upcoming movie with mixed martial arts star Brandon Vera, to be directed by Erik Matti.

Anne and Brandon, who will star in the film, both posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Let’s get ready to rumble!”. Anne mentioned the hashtag #NoDouble and explained to ABS-CBN News later on that she will not have any double for the stunt scenes in the film. She shared that she talked to the film director Erik Matti and insisted that she really wants to do it by herself that’s why she puts so much effort in training.

“Seryoso talaga kaya inaaral ko as much as I can kahit pasa-pasa na ako, okay lang,” she told ABS-CBN News. (I’m really serious that’s why I try to learn as much as I can despite having bruises, it’s okay.) Anne told reporters that she is very excited because this is something she has never done before and something that she has always wanted to do.

Brandon posted another photo carrying Anne and ABS-CBN reporter Dyan Castillejo each on both of his arms. The photo’s caption says: "Today is the start of a new set of skills for another set of skills I need to work on. I have a big lead to follow Ms. [Anne Curtis], (she's kinda of a big deaI for real) don't ever think I've been this nervous (no pressure). Even fighting [ONE Championship]."

Brandon shared that Anne has shown a lot of improvement from day 1 to day 6 and that she turned into a different person. She learned well and properly and he referred to her as a beast.

Brandon also confirmed that he will be living in the Philippines for good, given that he is Filipino-American. "Nandito na ako. Pilipinas, sa inyo na ako.”, he told ABS-CBN reporters. (I'm here. Philippines, I'm yours.)
