Duterte leads poll with 30%, statistically tied with Poe -The Standard

HIGHLIGHT : The Standard poll results show Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte and Sen. Grace Poe are statistically tied conducted nationwide with 3, 000 respondents.

The survey results show that 30% of the respondents prefer Duterte to be the next president from preferences measure in March 26 to April 1.

He is in a statistical tie with consistent poll leader Sen. Grace Poe, who got 27 percent voter preference.

Mar Roxas II is next with 21 percent while Vice President Jejomar Binay has 18 percent nods, Sen. Miriam Defenseor-Santiago got 2 percent.

The survey was published last Tuesday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.8 percent.

It was produced by Laylo Research Strategies which pooled respondents from  79 provinces, 40 highly-urbanized cities and all cities in the National Capital Region.
