This gay police officer touched the hearts of everybody at the event. The whole parade stopped to watch him propose to his boyfriend.
This British police officer proposed to his boyfriend at a London Pride parade on Saturday.
A tweet from the Metropolitan police's LGBT network confirmed that he said 'yes'.
His partner revealed that they were planning on getting engaged but didn't know it would be like this.
Another police couple also got engaged at the event.
The annual Pride Parade which highlights issues of the gay, lesbian and transgender community is held on the 25th of June.
PC Anton Brown commented:
"This is the culmination of two years’ work."
“The new staff association will represent LGBT matters in the Met, promoting recruitment and delivering training to LGBT liaison officers. It will also provide access to local and national events, promote reporting and provide support to members who have suffered LGBT crimes or bullying."
“The Network will also work with the LGBT community to signpost members of the public to support services.”
