Amidst rumors circulating that Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo might transfer to a rival network, she signs a two-year contract with ABS-CBN.

The said rumors caught fire when Sarah announced that she would no longer be a part of the Voice Kids as a judge, citing her need for career growth.

Furthermore, the merging of TV 5 and Viva Entertainment led to speculations that Sarah might transfer because Viva Entertainment was managing the Pop Star.
