- Danielle Koning got her very own Disney magic for her final adoption hearing.
- Koning has been living in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her foster parents.
- Her foster care worker got everyone in the courtroom to dress up as Disney characters to give Koning her very own fairy tale dream come true.
Courtrooms can either be dull and boring or full of drama, but for five-year-old Danielle Koning, the courtroom just became the most magical place in the world.
When she arrived for her adoption hearing, Danielle found the courtroom full of people dressed up as Disney princesses.
Danielle has been living with her foster parents, Sarah and Jim Koning, since 2014.
And for her final adoption hearing, Danielle’s foster care worker got everyone in the courtroom to dress up as Disney characters.
There was Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Elsa, and Prince Charming.
Even the judge dressed up as Snow White!
The results are pretty magical!
Sarah and Jim also adopted a one-year-old girl.
“The hearing is a celebration that the kids now have forever families,” said Laura Mitchell, executive director for Samaritas Foster Care Program.
It’s a fairy tale ending come true.
