Trinna Hibberd, from Queensland, Australia, woke up one night because she heard that something was in her bedroom. She wasn't wrong. A 5.2m python was stretched all the way from her lounge to her bedroom.
She immediately called the snake catchers, which are an actual service in Australia. Before the snake catcher arrived her uninvited guest managed to turn on a light and knock over a lamp.
The snake catcher managed to wrestle the gargantuan serpent into a plastic jug. By the time the 40kg beast was contained it was already "choking his arm to death".
According to Trinna the python had been living in her roof for the last ten years, but tonight he just decided to move to the bedroom.
This australian Jormungandr was put to work in a nearby sewage pond where a growing infestation of rats will hopefully keep him busy and full.
