- The next Presidential Peace Adviser came from Oslo, Norway after peace talks with the National Democratic Front of the Philippines
- The recently-concluded talks were successful, and will resume late next month
- Dureza posted a photo of himself in front of the city’s Red Light Secrets Museum
As he is now on “turista mode”, incoming Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza made it known that he is in Netherlands and posted it on his Facebook account.
Dureza was sent to Oslo, Norway by President-elect Duterte, along with other representatives, to meet with the communist National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) for a series of peace talks.
The initial talks had a favorable outcome for both parties and will resume again by the end of next month.
Since the talks turned out to be successful, Dureza hitched a short tour in the capital of Netherlands - Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is known worldwide for its canals, which the entire city is almost built up on. The city is also known for promoting the use of bicycles and their coffee shops. Aside from their simple mode of transportation and quaint cafes, Dureza also took the chance to stroll inside the red light district of the city.
On his Facebook account, he shared a photo of him in front of Red Light Secrets Museum. “Ooops, just looking… Taking a peep, that’s all. At Amsterdam ‘red light’ district,” was written on his photo's caption.
Unlike the usual art museums people usually visit, what Dureza snapped of is the world’s first museum on prostitution. If you are curious as to what’s inside, Dureza has not been able to share it on his page yet.
After all, he claimed that he did not go all the way inside.
