During a live episode of the noontime variety show It's Showtime, main host Vice Ganda poked fun at the fact they have a Korean on the show, jokingly saying to their audience, "May Koreano nga dito, hindi natin alam bakit ang tagal tagal na niyang andito."

Upon hearing this, Ryan excitedly shared that he had successfully obtained his Permanent Residence (PR) status. The announcement was met with cheers from the studio audience and his co-hosts, who have witnessed his journey in local entertainment since his early vlogging and reality television days.

While trying to explain the achievement, Ryan inadvertently created a viral moment with his classic, beloved comedic charm. As Vice asked him to clarify what "PR" stood for, Ryan stumbled over his words, repeatedly pronouncing it as "permanent res-dance" and "permanent res-band".

"Permanent res-dance? Permanent res-band?" Ryan said innocently, sending the stage into fits of laughter.
