A 19-year old college student from Pasig City bags the 33m jackpot.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Vice Chair and General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said that the 19-year-old winner was the sole player to correctly pick the winning number combination 20-24-19-44-16-30. He took home exactly P32,940,388.
The 19-year-old is graduating college this year. He has told the press that he is planning to buy a house and lot for his parents, as well as set up a business. But even if he has won a fortune, he will strive to finish his schooling so he could manage the business that he will put up in the future.
Rojas, however, said that the winner has not decided on the type of business he would invest his money in.
The winner, who started playing a year ago, bought two tickets to win the jackpot prize. He told Rojas that he got his number combination from his age and the birth dates of his family.
