Korean heartthrob and Bench brand ambassador Lee Min Ho arrived in Manila last Thursday night for a meet and greet weekend session aptly titled “Be My Yeobo: Lee Min Ho in Manila” with his fans. “Yeobo” is “honey” or “sweetheart” in Korean.
The Korean actor best known as Gu Jun Pyo in the hit series “Boys Over Flowers” has been Bench’s endorser for four years. He was also here to promote the homegrown brand’s campaign “Every Summer Has a Story.” Lee Min Ho is no stranger to the Philippines as this is his fifth time in the country.
He kicked off his tour last Saturday, April 2, at TriNoma and SM Megamall. Both venues were filled with throngs of adoring fans who were obviously thrilled to see Lee Min Ho back. Then on Sunday, April 3, Min Ho flew to Cebu for another fun meet session at SM Seaside Mall and Ayala Center Cebu. The Cebu crowd definitely loved Min Ho when he came out on stage wearing a shirt that reads, “Annyeong Cebuanos” or “Hello, Cebuanos.” After the successful weekend meet and greet sessions for Bench, Min Ho opted to enjoy the city and frolic the famous beaches of Cebu.
Lee Min Ho is just one of many Korean celebrities to endorse Bench. Other K-pop stars who previously joined the Bench fold were Lee Donghae and Choi Siwon of Super Junior and Nichkhun of 2PM.
