DingDong Dantes, commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NYC), has not resigned amid reports that he has already resigned. His office clarified this Tuesday morning.

"Hindi po nag-resign si Commissioner Dantes. No official resignation yet," said a staff member to GMA News Online. Additionally, staff have not receive word yet from the human resources department, the administration, nor the finance offices of any such resignation from Commissioner Dantes. They will verify the information in a commissioner's meeting set today.

This was after amid speculation that Dantes is resigning from his post this week. Currently, there has been no official announcement. The only chairman who has resigned is Chairman Gio Tingson, approved by President Aquino. Tiongson resigned in order to campaign for the Liberal Party.

Dantes, along with his wife Marian Rivera, supports the bid for vice presidency of Camarines Rep. Leni Robredo, but supports the presidential bid of Senator Grace Poe.
