Actor Gerald Anderson has firmly put an end to swirling rumors about a supposed breakup with girlfriend Julia Barretto. In a candid moment shared on Instagram by ABS-CBN News, seasoned broadcaster Karen Davila directly asked Gerald about his current relationship status.

“Ano ba ang totoo? On ba o off?” Karen asked straightforwardly, addressing the speculations that have been circulating online. Gerald initially laughed and playfully responded that it might be better to answer it during a sit-down interview in the future. But when Karen pressed again, Gerald gave a clear and final answer: “On na on.”

The couple, who have been together for several years now, have faced multiple rumors and speculations about their relationship over time, especially on social media. But Gerald also addressed the topic earlier in an interview with Toni Gonzaga on her YouTube show Toni Talks, where he likewise debunked the breakup claims.

Gerald told Toni: “We're okay. Kanina nga hinatid ko siya sa airport, papunta sila ng Dubai. Kaya napaaga ako."

"Inuunahan ka nila, and then yun yung basehan. Naka-follow ba? Naka-unfollow ba? Andun yung pictures, wala yung pictures. Nakakalungkot lang na... yun na yung basehan ano?"

Fans of the couple have since expressed relief and support online, with many praising Gerald for being upfront and dismissing the rumors head-on.

Gerald Anderson is a Filipino actor, model, and basketball player. He gained prominence in 2006 as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition. His on-screen partnership with fellow housemate Kim Chiu, known as "Kimerald," became a fan favorite, leading to numerous television and film projects together. His notable television roles include Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, and Budoy. He also starred in the critically acclaimed film On the Job (2013), which was featured at the Cannes Film Festival.
