UE To Resume Operations On April 5

After a devastating fire that reportedly cost P22M damage, the University declared that it will resume operations on Tuesday, April 5. In its official statement, enrollment for its senior high school program as well as its summer program will proceed on Tuesday. Summer classes will start on April 11. The first semester will start on June 13.

A fire sprung ablaze in the UE Recto campus, an unwelcome news after another recent fire burned the Faculty Center of the University of the Philippines Diliman. The fire in the Recto campus of UE was reportedly from the university's second floor, in the College of Arts and Sciences Building. The fire reached fifth alarm before it was finally put under control. Afterwards, the university expressed its gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection for putting out the fire in its two buildings. The university also thanked those who expressed concern and sympathy regarding the incident.
