WATCH: Friends link arms to form human chain and save stranded puppy

Faith in humanity restored!

A group of friends decided to help each other and form a human chain in order to save a stranded puppy.

The incredible act started when a teenager rushed to the scene and tried to rescue a puppy that was stranded in what seems to be a gushing water. However, it was not an easy feat as he had to climb a wall in order to get to the safe zone.

Thankfully, he has friends. His group of friends helped him and formed a human chain that would serve as a ladder from the water to the safe side. They linked their arms. One by one they went down to retrieve their friend and the puppy.

It was indeed an incredible act!

The video that was posted by Daily Mail has 152,000 likes and 5.9 million views as of this writing. It also garnered 4600 comments, mostly positive ones.

Most of the comments said that they did the right thing and that these kids are a good example to the next generations. Other comments also expressed how the world needs more teenagers like them. Some of the comments that had the most likes include one from a certain Melissa Thorpe. Part of her comment reads:

All the people on here saying that the kids shouldn't have risked their lives like that? Yeah okay fair enough. But what about dogs? Dogs risk their lives too on a daily basis trying to save their humans, human babies from drowning, even grown ups, dogs protect their owners when it comes to a gun/knife attacks, dogs park whenever something is wrong with their humans (like this one time, I was dating my ex and my exes sister's daughter was sick and their dog started barking), dogs save our lives A LOT!

However, the video also gained some negative comments. One of the most intriguing comments was from someone named Mary Roberts. She said: "No human life especially a teenager is worth the life of an animal. I can guarantee you that his mother did not give birth to him to possibly die saving a dog."
